The “upper” pavilion has 16 picnic tables which seat 6 to 8 people each, one large table which seats 16-20 people, and one wide table which seats 3-4 people. The bathrooms are attached to this pavilion and it overlooks the pools and a playground. The entrance for this pavilion is off of North Maple Avenue. There is electric, inside and outside lighting, and charcoal grills for your use. This pavilion can be rented for $50.00. This pavilion holds approximately 150 people. The “lower” pavilion has 15 picnic tables which seat 6-8 people and one handicap table which seats about 4 people. This pavilion is partially shaded and the entrance is off of Route 23, the main park entrance. There is electric, inside and outside lighting, and charcoal grills for your use. This pavilion can be rented for $50.00. This pavilion holds approximately 124 people. There are three playgrounds, an exercise/fitness trail, a gazebo, and three “family” pavilions in the park, not to mention a breathtaking view! The exercise/fitness trail is 1,512 feet long (3.5 laps equals one mile). The “family” pavilions consist of one picnic table which holds 6 people under a small roof and are first-come-first-serve. Please call the Township office for more information or if you are interested in renting one of our pavilions at 717-656-9755, ask for Karen. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! Beginning January 1, 2010, a $50.00 deposit will be required in addition to the pavilion rental fee of $50.00. This deposit shall be a separate check made payable to Upper Leacock Township and will not be deposited unless cleanup, by the Township, is required after your visit, OR there is any damage to the pavilion. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) with your deposit check so that we can return it to you as soon as the pavilion is checked and deemed okay. We ask that you put all trash in the trash containers provided. Please put the tables back in their original positions if moved, and sweep the floor if necessary. Make sure you have gathered all of your belongings from the pavilion, park area, and the bathrooms. If, when you arrive at the park, the pavilion you have rented is not clean, please make note of it, take pictures, or call Bob at 587-1818 to have the pavilion cleaned. Please report this to the Township at 656-9755 as soon as possible, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter and enjoy your visit at the Leola Community Park!
